The annual major exhibit is held outdoors in Fulton Park. The park is centrally located in Bedford Stuyvesant and is part of Stuyvesant Heights, a designated landmark section of Brooklyn, easily accessible by all modes of public transport.

Young Polish immigrant Ewa (Cotillard) finds herself caught in a dangerous battle of wills with a shady burlesque manager (Phoenix) in James Gray’s richly detailed period tragedy. As a charismatic magician (Renner) starts to compete for Ewa’s affections, The Immigrant becomes a devastating reflection on family loyalty, urban disillusionment, and the unpredictable twists and turns of human motivation. Working with cinematographer Darius Khondji (Se7en, Amour), Gray imagines 1920s Manhattan as a dusty, sepia-toned dream world, by turns both luminous and ashen. Based on the stories and experiences told to Gray by his grandparents, The Immigrant is a true personal epic.

Mamady Kouyate is a pioneer of the Guinean musical movement known as Authenticité. He played in various bands - his own band, Les Ambassadeurs du Mandingue, being one of them - but is probably best known as the guitarist in the classic Bembeya Jazz National. Kouyate, who now lives in NY, has reformed the Mandingo Ambassadors, updating the sound of his youth, but keeping it very close to the standard of Authenticité. The new All-Star band includes Mamady "Djelike" Kouyate, guitar, leader; Bebe Camara, vocal; Eudy Fernandez, trumpet; Oran Etkin, tenor sax, clarinet; Sylvain Leroux, flute, Fula flute, alto sax; Sam Dickey, guitar; Nick Cudahy, bass; Andy Algire, drums; Foluso Mimy, percussion.
