Lights! Camera! Auction! a FUNraising bash for Film Biz Recycling @ The Bell House, 149 7th Street (btwn 2nd ave & 3rd ave), 347-384-2336. Lights! Camera! Auction! is the annual fundraiser for non-profit Film Biz Recycling (FBR), which prevents pollution, creates jobs and aids our community by diverting set materials to local charities, shelters and arts organizations, and operating a prop shop and creative reuse center in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The event is a live and silent auction of quirky and hilarious prop collections curated by local celebrities, followed by live music and dancing. The auction items are from FBR's extensive collection of recovered props from NYC's film, television, and other performances and productions. All proceeds benefit FBR's public servcees.

Target First Saturdays @ Brooklyn Museum
(200 Eastern Parkway (at Washington Ave), 718-638-5000. At the Brooklyn Museum's Target First Saturdays, thousands of visitors enjoy free programs of art and entertainment each month from 5-11pm. All evening long, the Museum Cafe serves a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and a cash bar offers wine and beer.
